Your employer will provide you with a blackout notice that details the final dates to request a distribution, request a loan, or make investment transfers.

Your employer will inform you when it’s time to set up your online account so you can join the plan. It only takes about 10 minutes!

• At that time you can register at vanguard.com. Select Personal Investors. If you already have a login at Vanguard, select "Log In". If you do not already have a Vanguard account, select "Set up online account access".

You won't have full access to your account quite yet—but it will be ready for you once the transition is complete.

Vanguard will receive your assets and prepare them for investment into your account.

Review your plan's features, options, and:

• Choose your statement delivery preference (default is printed statement)
• Enter your beneficiary information. Please note: This information did not transfer from your previous plan. Now is a great time to make sure you’ve assigned a beneficiary(ies).
• Opt-in for automatic account rebalancing, if desired
• Opt-in for auto-increase if your plan supports this option
